The Vigan Heritage River Cruise that is included on our second day itinerary would have to be cancelled, we have been looking forward and even went to the loading pier but we were told that the all river cruise were cancelled due to the rains. The street dining planed on the previous night was also cancelled.
The Kallesa tour around the city and to Bantay Bell Tower located on adjacent town of Bantay went ahead, The kalesa ride was however limited to Crisologo Street and the sides streets, kalesa are not allowed to enter Quezon Avenue the main artery of Vigan where most of the commercial establishments are located.
Lastly we went for lunch with relatives at my sister’s house and then spent the rest of the day buying pasalubongs and a quick stop at Marsha’s Bibingka along the national highway before proceeding home to Manila.
